I want to build a FENCE.

  • Contact the Property Manager.
  • All fences must be made of wood or stone, not over 5 feet in height from the ground up.
  • All fences must be 10 feet off of all roadways.
  • No permit required.


I want to build a SHED.

  • Contact the Property Manager.
  • One shed per lot/site.
  • All sheds must be under 100 square feet, and not over 8 feet in height.
  • Sheds are to be finished in wood or siding and stained; if painted, painted in muted tones.
  • All sheds must be 5 feet off all lot/site lines, 10 feet off of all roadways.
  • No permit required.


I want to build a DECK.

  • Contact the Property Manager.
  • All decks LESS THAN 30 INCHES OFF THE GROUND WITHOUT HANDRAILS.
  • All decks must be 5 feet off of all lot/site lines, 10 feet off all roadways.
  • This pertains to adding onto your deck also.
  • No permit required.

All decks MORE THAN 30 INCHES OFF THE GROUND, regardless of anything else, must meet hand rail code.

This pertains to adding onto your deck also.


I want to build a SNOW COVER.

  • Contact the Property Manager.
  • PERMIT REQUIRED!
  • Contact Skamania County Building Department, 509-427-3920. The inspector is Marlon Morat.
  • All snow covers must be 5 feet off of all lot/site lines, 10 feet off of all roadways.
  • The covered area shall total 50 feet by 20 feet, and not over 35 feet in height, which shall include a covering for the RV and a deck, if desired.
  • The total footprint of structures, including decks and snow covers, shall not exceed 1000 square feet.
  • For example, if you have a 1000 square foot cover, than all decking must be under the cover. If you have a 600 square foot cover, then you can have up to 400 square feet of uncovered decking.
  • All snow covers must be 5 feet off all lot/site lines, 10 feet off of all roadways.
  • A copy of the permit is to be given to the Property Manager.


I want to ADD ONTO my SNOW COVER.

  • Contact the Property Manager.
  • PERMIT REQUIRED!
  • Contact Skamania County Building Department, 509-427-3920. The inspector is Marlon Morat.
  • Regardless of the amount being added onto the existing structure.
  • All snow covers must be 5 feet off all lot/site lines, 10 feet off of all roadways.
  • A copy of the permit is to be given to the Property Manager.


I want to ENCLOSE my DECK and SNOW COVER.

  • NOT ALLOWED!


TRAILER PLACEMENT.

  • Contact the Property Manager.
  • All trailers must be 5 feet off all lot/site lines, 10 feet off of all roadways.
  • All trailers must be inspected BEFORE being allowed in the park. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • One trailer per lot/site.


ELECTRIC REGULATIONS as of July 2014:

  • PVC conduit 18 inches underground.
  • Bare wire must be underground wire 24 inches underground.
  • Ground rods must be at least six feet apart, must have two.
